The Community of Native indian Automobile Companies (SIAM) has talked its opinion against lower work on transfer of huge vehicles from the Western Partnership (EU). The organization has compared the move in light of an increase in the excise work on huge vehicles manufactured in Native indian as part of the Partnership Funds 2012-13.
While increasing the excise work to up to 27 % in the Funds, the government is also considering a loss of the transfer work on huge vehicles being brought in from the Western Partnership to about 10 % in the recommended India-EU free trade contract.
SIAM states that since the excise work increase on huge vehicles in Native indian has been integrated, a cut in the transfer work on such vehicles from EU would beat the purpose completely.
